What happens if I lose my ChronoTrack timing tag?

If you lose your ChronoTrack tag, you will not have an official time and will not be recorded as an official finisher of your race. This means that you will not be able to use your race time to qualify for other races, such as the Boston Marathon. What if the tag gets wet?
