What happens if I KNOWINGLY choose an incorrect answer as “Best answer” in Yahoo Answers?
It happens a lot, but Yahoo can’t really control every question and answer. There would be so many people on the payroll, it would cost a fortune to use the site. There’s a disclaimer provided at the bottom, saying they don’t evaluate or guarantee the accuracy of any of the content. So nobody should really risk or trust using anything gained here in a life or death situation. Medical questions and answers on Yahoo, for example, are no substitute for seeing a doctor. Anyone who takes an answer here as a final diagnosis is just plain asking for trouble. Most of the people who choose an obviously bad answer as best are either doing it from another account to help themselves, or doing it for a friend or relative. There’s nothing anyone can do about it.
