What happens if I have car accident and its not my fault?
All accidents should be reported to us immediately on 0845 300 4400. You should also contact the police if anyone has been injured in the accident. If you have comprehensive cover our first priority is to get your car repaired and roadworthy or reach a settlement if its a total loss. After this, we’ll try to recover our costs from the person responsible for the accident. If we’re successful your claim will not affect your no claims discount, however if we are unable to recover losses your no claims discount will be affected.
