What happens if I forget the password for my Windows LiveID?
Before you forget your passwords, it is recommended that you setup your challenge response questions. You can do this from within the account area of your Live account at https://account.live.com/ChangeSQSA.aspx. It is also worthwhile setting up your challenge response questions in the MySwinburne portal. You can simply change your SIMS password in the MySwinburne portal. This will reset and sync down to your Windows LiveID. If you don’t want to change your SIMS password and you have set your challenge response questions in Windows Live, your can reset your password at https://account.live.com/ResetPassword.aspx. This will only change your Windows LiveID password.> If you have forgotten your SIMS password but have set your challenge response questions in the MySwinburne portal, you can reset your password at https://my.swinburne.edu.au/pmp/public/RecoverPasswordServlet.
