What happens if I failed to respond to the Dependent Eligibility Verification Audit?
If you did not respond to the audit in providing the required documentation to verify eligibility, your dependent(s) coverage in the State Health Benefits Program (SHBP) will be terminated effective February 1, 2010. Beginning January 7, 2010, the SHBP mailed letters to affected members indicating that dependents will be terminated for noncompliance with the audit.
