What happens if i fail my drug test before my deployment?

You’ll still get deployed, stop trying to get out of deployment. Ask any OIF 1-5 Vet it’s not that bad there anymore. You have a female avatar, so unless you are military police you won’t be rolling out anyway. You’ll also be held to the consequences of your action, say goodbye to any rank, respect, and possibility of promotion for a while. Most likely you’d be seeing 45/45 field grade article 15. They should kick you out in my opinion for thinking to do such a thing.

It depends on what your command wants to do with you. They could be “nice,” and kick you out right away. Although, that will probably screw over your record for a good portion of your life depending on what type of discharge you get. Or, they could make you deploy, do the UCMJ bit (pay/rank/extra duty/etc). And keep you there, but barring you from re-enlistment. Or, they could make you deploy. Do the UCMJ, make your life a living hell, and then at the end of the deployment start your chaptering paperwork. And could screw you to the very end, and long after the military. If you truly wanted to get out…you should have just gotten pregnant… Or go insane…or seek psychological help for depression, and things of that nature. The military is designed to either keep you in, and/or screw you if you try to leave early. The military may fight for our freedoms…but for those that join, and sign the paper — those freedoms do not truly belong to them anymore. You become the property of the U

I’ve know a lot of people who’ve tried to do this before a deployment. They were all taken along with the unit and given **** jobs for the whole tour. Then when we got back to the states they had a couple more months of **** jobs ahead of them before they were finally kicked out. That’s to bad you hate the Army. After all, you’re the one who signed the contract. No one held a gun to your head. I hope you have fun trying ti find a decent job after your discharge. Most places won’t touch you if you have a dishonorable. You can kiss Veteran’s Benefits good bye too. Finally, the kicker, you won’t be able to change the character of your discharge after the waiting period either. Have a nice life, and yeah, I’d like fries with that.

J.D.,if you are asking this question, you are thinking about drugs right now or you’ve gone out and “Partied”and now your concerned?Use your head, get clean and stay that way.If you are on active duty right now and doing drugs, you are in a tight spot.Failure to pass drug screen, will immediately bring charges and/or arrest.A Dishonorable or Bad Conduct discharge is possible.Either one is an ugly stain and hard to make go away.Get your tour over with in an Honorable manner, and then re-evaluate what is important to you.Make the right call here………………..
