Students who go on approved, non-affiliated study abroad programs must request a leave of absence from the College through the Dean of Students (Office of Academic Affairs). This permission is not necessary for summer abroad programs. Only credits (no grades) transfer to McDaniel from non-affiliated programs. Federal, Sate and McDaniel scholarships cannot be used for non-affiliated programs.
