What happens if i don register to vote?
All kinds of things happen when you don’t vote. One being you don’t let your voice be heard. You give up your right to complain. No one who doesn’t vote can honestly say they don’t complain. How many times have you gone to the pump and complained about the cost of gas prices or if you don’t drive the rising cost of public transportation? With the new issues we are facing in America all the candidates aren’t talking about it as much but it’s still an issue. By not voting you don’t help to change this country. You don’t get in any trouble as far as a physical fine or jail time. Even if you think that all politicians lie or make broken promises that is not a reason to not vote. When you seriously look at it at the end of the day somebody will have to become president so if you vote or not it’s going to happen. One candidate ‘s “lies” as you put it have to sound more believable to you. I mean it’s no secret that everyone lies. If at the end of the day someone’s going to get elected anyways
No. You are not required to register to vote. In fact, the constitution of the United States does not give you the right to vote. States give you the right to vote. What the US constitution guarantees, is states may not discriminate. Problem with not voting, is when you contact a congress person, they know whether or not you voted. they do not know for who, but they know if you did. If not, they pay no attention to you.
