Eventually, the creditors will file a lawsuit and this may result in the court rendering a judgment against you for the amount owed, plus court fees and court costs. Additionally, if your contract so provided, the creditor may also recover attorneys fees. The creditor would then be able to confiscate your property, garnishee your wages, force the sale of your real estate or take similar actions to satisfy the judgment.
