There are two different exam paths in the RAD. There is the graded where you explained you are at grade eight which is the last exam within the graded syllabus, and there is the vocational syllabus (majors) which includes intermediate foundation, intermediate, advanced 1&2, and solo seal. Within the graded exams (which I am sure you are already aware of) grade 6 is the first mandatory grade in order to move on within the syllabus. Within the vocational syllabus the first mandatory exam is intermediate. This means that it does not matter if you took intermediate foundation. To lessen your fears, I personally didn’t take intermediate foundation and got distinction on my intermediate exam. And about being “kicked out” that would never happen in an exam.
