What happens if I don’t comply with web violations that are brought to my attention from the Compliance Department?
When an Affiliate Member has been informed of a web violation, the Affiliate Member must change/fix the site immediately in order to be compliant. The violation may occur within a blog, social networking site, advertisement or website. If the Affiliate Member does not respond in a timely manner, TriVita will be forced to take further action to ensure compliance. If the Affiliate Member is subsequently told to take down another non-compliant site and does not do so immediately, that will be considered the second violation and the Affiliate Member may be suspended from advertising for 30 days. If an Affiliate Member is a persistent offender, he or she is liable to incur strict disciplinary action and may not be allowed to advertise for up to a year or longer. The changed/fixed site must be again submitted to BrandRequest for approval prior to reposting the site.
