What happens if I don’t complete and submit the Annual Progress Report by the due date?
Continuation of candidature and, where relevant, scholarship funding, is conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory progress report. Failure to complete and submit the report will result in a show cause determination. If a scholarship holder, the scholarship will be suspended effective from the report due date. Candidates are required to contact their Faculty HDR Manager and the Higher Degree Research Office immediately if there are any concerns about submitting the report by the due date. Certain candidates such as those sponsored by AUSAid or under a US Loan agreement must submit the report on-time or risk having this support withdrawn.
