What happens if I don’t attach an image to a post using custom fields?
The theme is smart enough to detect when you’ve either forgotten or neglected to attach the correct images, and will fall back on default images, named after the custom field they correspond with. So, if you forgot to attach he 100×100 thumbnail image, the theme will pull the /images/thumb.png file from the theme folder. The same goes for the larger feature-300×200 image as well (/images/feature-300×200.png).
