What happens if I do not get placed in an AUSL Turnaround School after the residency year?
In 2010, 90 percent of program graduates were offered teaching positions in AUSL schools. While AUSL is not able to guarantee that every graduating resident will be hired by a CPS principal, over 90 percent of our graduates have historically been employed as teachers in Chicago after the program year. Post-graduate coaching support is, however, only provided to residents placed in AUSL-managed schools.
