What happens if I delete a file on my computer in a folder that is backed up by Allmydata?
When you select to backup a folder, Allmydata keeps itself in synch with your PC. If you delete a file on your computer, the file will also be deleted from Allmydata after a 24 hour period. The 24 hour delay is to allow you to restore the file in case you had accidentally deleted it on your local PC. Please note that if you copy a file to Allmydata instead of backing it up, the Allmydata file is never updated or deleted regardless of the changes you make on your local drive. If you wish to delete the file from the Allmydata drive, simply right-click on the file and select the delete option.
