Damage can sometimes be caused by someone carelessly drilling through a tiled floor or driving a screw or nail through a laminate, engineered wood or timber floor. With laminate (or similar) floor, the solution is relatively simple as the floor can be lifted and an individual heating film can be easily replaced. With ceramic and stone floors, a tile or group of tile will have to be lifted to expose the damaged cable. Warm2U can provide a designed-for-purpose kit to allow the cable to be repaired before making good the floor. As you can see this is quite an involved procedure so please make every effort not to damage the cable after installation.
