Participants may request authorisation for suspension of studies for a limited time period (by writing to the Head of the Department of Cultural Policy and Management), enabling them to resume the remainder of the MA programme within a limited time period. The University regulations stipulate that students for any postgraduate programme shall have a maximum of three calendar years from the point of initial registration to complete this programme. However, if the completion of studies is not possible within this maximum period of registration, the student has to reapply for admission at a later date. The University reserves the right to require some period of updating study and testing, possibly including the repeating of all or part of modules in the case of prior learning which is regarded as ‘stale’ and out of date.
