What happens if I am placed on academic probation or am dismissed from the Honors Program?

GPAs are reviewed each semester. If a student’s cumulative UNF GPA falls below 2.5, the students will be dismissed from the Honors Program. If the GPA falls between 2.5 and 2.99, the student will be placed on academic probation. Students on academic probation will have two semesters (fall and spring) to raise their GPA to 3.0 or better to remain in the Honors Program. Students on probation will not be eligible for leadership positions, Honors scholarships, or travel opportunities. Students have the opportunity to appeal their Dismissal from the Honors Program by completing and submitting an Appeals Form within 10 days of notification of disciplinary/academic action and appearing before the Appeals Committee.
