What happens if chest x-ray is required?
If the chest x-ray is normal, you do not have active tuberculosis. We will complete I-693 accordingly and this will NOT impact your immigration application at all. You will be given a copy of your x-ray results and letter with your TB test results. These should be taken to your local health department for further evaluation. If you have abnormal chest x-ray then further investigation will be necessary and you will be referred to local health department for further evaluation. Till you are cleared by department of health, you cannot proceed further.
