What happens if an overnight homework assignment is late, misplaced or lost?
If an assignment is not turned in when it is asked for in class a detention will be issued. In detention your child will work on that homework assignment and turn it in by the end of the day or the next day (no reminders to turn in the homework will be given). The late homework assignment will receive ½ credit. If it is not turned in by the next day a zero will be issued and cannot be made up. We feel that if a child is to learn responsible behavior, then he/she should be held accountable when a deadline is not met.
