What happens if an investor pulls out after negotiations have been finalised?
Once an investor has signed the investment documentation, he or she will be contractually bound to invest the agreed amount in the investee company. If an investor pulls out before signing the documents, he or she may be liable for the deal costs incurred in reaching that point in the negotiations.
