What happens if an Institution does not fix any issues in time?
If an Institution has identified certain extensions that must remain analogue if no network upgrades are completed and wishes to utilise VoIP handsets, then the upgrades must be completed before the Institution as a whole can receive the new phone system. If subsequently upgrades are not made before the end of life of the new system, then the installation will proceed and the identified lines will remain analogue. These analogue lines can then, upon future network upgrades, be later converted to VoIP handsets at the cost of the Institution.
