What happens if an employees voting place requires registration in person?
A – Employees who vote in jurisdictions that require registration in person may be granted time off to register only if registration cannot be accomplished on a non-work day and the place of registration is within a reasonable 1-day, round-trip travel distance of the employee’s place of residence.
