If any damage is visible to the appliance or carton, it must be fully noted by the delivery company on the delivery receipt. Each delivery company allows the customer the right to refuse damaged merchandise so that the replacement can be shipped. Please call our customer service team immediately upon noticing any damage so we can work with you while the delivering company is present. Remember: Lakes Appliance has a full service and parts department, so any missing or damaged parts upon delivery of an appliance can be replaced at no charge. Sometimes the solution is replacing a grate or handle rather than refusing a range or refrigerator.
