It’s called an over-vote. The system will not accept over-voting for any contest. Should there be an instance of over-vote for a particular contest (for example, voting for 2 candidates in the President contest), that contest will not be counted. However, the other contests would still be evaluated and counted, provided that those contests were not over-voted in.
