What happens if a student thinks they have dyslexia?

Students should make an appointment with a Dyslexia Tutor who will investigate with the student the issues that they are experiencing: this appointment is called a pre-assessment. If the outcome of this suggests that the student may have dyslexia or another specific learning difficulty, a further appointment will be required. This further assessment will identify if the student has dyslexia/dyscalculia/dyspraxia. Such assessments do incur a charge; however there are funds available to pay for this assessment for students who are eligible.
