What happens if a student registers his/her CPS response pad with CPSOnline and not through Blackboard?

0

If a class has been successfully linked from Blackboard to CPSOnline, it is impossible for a student to enroll a pad in THAT class via CPSOnline. If a student obtains the class key for said Blackboard course from the faculty member and attempts to register at CPSOnline that student will be blocked and presented with a message that directs him/her to register via Blackboard. An account (and pad) can be enrolled in CPSOnline classes and/or Blackboard-CPSOnline classes simultaneously. If faculty members plan to use Blackboard-CPSOnline Connection to upload assessment data to Blackboard, they should register their classes through Blackboard. Students should register their clickers through Blackboard as well by going to that class -> Tools -> CPS.
