What happens if a ref isn allocated to the match?
The vast majority of matches are covered by an allocated ref. Where this isn’t possible, the managers of both teams should agree who will ref the match (if they have someone who is a qualified ref this is preferable). Teams could share referring the match ie one half each. Teams should make every effort to play the fixture, but if they cannot agree on a ref, the match is cancelled and this must be immediately reported by the home team to the Fixtures Secretary & League Secretary.
