The Pharmacy will not be enrolled in the PrimeRx Card Network and will not be able to provide prescription services to enrollees of the PrimeRx Card Prescription Drug Program. It does not affect a Pharmacys participation in other Prime networks. Section #5 of the Amendment titled Compliance with Laws and Regulations states a pharmacy shall comply with state and federal privacy and security provisions stated in the Program at 42 CFR 403812. What is this? This refers to HIPAA Privacy Regulations, a requirement of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for this program.
