What happens if a payment is returned from the bank because of insufficient funds?
If the bank returns a payment because of insufficient funds or a closed account, we will send you an e-mail notification of the problem payment and we will reverse the amount of the failed payment from the same account that was originally credited. The payment will show up in the PIC with a failed status and the resident who initiated the problem payment will be notified via e-mail that the payment failed.
