What happens if a patient in the RADAR trial decides to stop taking the trial medication?

0

The RADAR trial is an “intent-to-treat” trial. It is the policy of the RADAR trial to continue to follow-up the patient regardless of whether he is still taking trial medication. If a patient stops taking trial medication, this does not necessarily mean he has decided not to be followed-up on the trial. So, whether the patient stops the medication due to personal reasons, an adverse event or due to the advice of the clinician, please encourage the patient to continue the follow-up visits and please continue to submit the required forms in accordance with the patient’s treatment schedule.
