What happens if a parent wants their child to attend a grammar school?
There are seven grammar schools in Gloucestershire that select on the basis of academic ability. Three for girls, 3 for boys and 1 mixed. To gain a place at one of the grammar schools your child will need to take a test and will need to register for the test by 12 noon 1st October 2010. Grammar school registration forms for Crypt School, Marling School, Pate’s Grammar School, Ribston Hall High School, Stroud High School and The High School for Girls are available from the schools and forms for Sir Thomas Rich’s can be downloaded from our page Applying for a place at a grammar school (this page is currently offline).
