What happens if a new born gets sick?
Honey, you are going to be alright. You probably are tired from just delivering, tired from not sleeping right. Your baby is born with immunities that last about six months. I doubt that he will get much more than a rash. Try to relax and sleep when you can. If he gets sick, there will probably be fever. If you think he is warm, make a nice warm, not hot, not cold, bath and soak the baby in the water. That will help break any fever. You will be able to tell if he is crying because he is sick or hungry. A mother knows those things, even if she doesn’t know she knows them yet. Good luck and God bless you and your new son.
