What happens if a job is interrupted?
If you must ask us to halt work for 24 or more hours, or if you must leave town for more than 48 hours, then you must settle up with us beforehand, according to the percentage of completion method, which all accountants are familiar with. So, for example, if the job is 70% finished in my judgment, and you have paid us for 50% of it, then you owe us 20% before you leave.
