What Happens If A Girl Des Not Get Her Period Or Start Developing At The Age Of 14?
I would not say this is cause for concern, other than you may feel out of place compared to the other girls your age. Despite the fact that many girls these days begin their periods at a relatively young age, there are still many who don’t begin until the early teen years. Having started at age 11 and developed large breasts at a very early age, I personally find you to be lucky! If you are really concerned and feel that something is out of balance, hopefully you have a trusted female adult friend or family member to talk to. Also, there is no harm in getting a complete physical and asking questions about development and what to expect. It is important to note that even though you have not started your period, you should still use protection if you are sexually active – not only to protect yourself from STDs, but to protect yourself against an unexpected pregnancy. You never know when ovulation may begin, and you certainly don’t want to find yourself in that situation. Good luck sweeti
