What happens if a dentist refuses to answer one of the questions on the Credentialing Application?

0

If a dentist chooses not to answer a particular question on the Credentialing Application, Delta Dental of Massachusetts’ Credentialing Committee will take this situation under consideration. The committee will review the reason for the omission and will then respond to the dentist with its decision. If it is determined that the omitted information is still required, the dentist will be asked to supply it within 30 days. If this is not done, the Credentialing Committee could initiate the process to withdraw the dentist’s participating status.
