What happens if a couple without children becomes pregnant?
In this case, couples can remain in their off-campus apartments, apply to join the on-campus housing Waiting List for Student with Children Housing, or petition to be released from their contracts in order to rent larger apartments on their own. On the on-campus Waiting List, couples living in University-assigned, off-campus housing will be considered off-campus students, and they will have a lower priority for transfer to Student with Children Housing than on-campus couples. Given the high demand for on-campus housing, it is unlikely that off-campus couples will be assigned to on-campus Student with Children Housing during the 2002-03 academic year.
