What happens if a complaint is filed against me with the Nevada Board of Medical Examiners?

0

If a complaint alleges that a medical doctor (M.D.), physician assistant or respiratory care practitioner has violated the Nevada Medical Practice Act then the board will investigate the allegations. After the initial investigation is conducted, the patient’s medical records will be reviewed. Then a legal review is conducted. Finally, the Investigative Committee Review, which meets four times a year, reviews the complaint and either requests additional investigation, dismisses the case or issues disciplinary action against the licensed professional.
