What happens if a complaint is filed against me with the Indiana Health Professions Bureau?
Indiana refers to the complaint process as “license litigation.” The attorney general files a written complaint with the Bureau. If the matter is about a clear and immediate danger then the matter may be decided by summary suspension. Otherwise, disciplinary hearings will be held before the Bureau or an administrative law judge, both of whom can impose penalties.
