What happens if a class is cancelled due to weather or instructor illness?

In the event an instructor is ill or unable to teach, a reasonable attempt will be made to arrange for another one of our instructors to substitute for her. If a substitute cannot be arranged, class will be cancelled. In the event a class is cancelled, we will post a “Breaking News” announcement on the Aalim School homepage. We will also attempt to reach registered students via email and/or telephone, using the information provided on the student’s registration form. Winter storm or severe weather cancellations will be posted on the School’s homepage as well. As most of our classes are held in the evening and conditions can change drastically from early morning to evening, Aalim School typically follows the direction of local college and university night school programs rather than local k-12 school district to determine cancellations.
