What happens if a chartered boat is accidently damaged?

0

If the damage is to a boat chartered by Club members for Spring Fling, Fall Topper, or at any other time, the Skipper and crew are responsible to the charter company for any uninsured damages, usually up to the amount of the security deposit paid as part of the charter fee. Liberty Sailing Club is never a party to these charters and has no financial responsibility to the charter company. Tip: Ask your Skipper how much your share of the security deposit would be in the event of serious damage, and verify that he/she has towing insurance.
