What happens from April 2009 if I hold a learner licence?
From April 2009, the L1 and L2 stages will be introduced for novice drivers. So if you hold a learner licence you will automatically be treated as being in the L2 stage and any supervised hours completed will count towards the required 50 supervised hours. Those entering the novice licensing system from April 2009 will enter at the L1 stage.
