What happens during the Vaser procedure?
First you will be offered an initial consultation where you can discuss your needs with the doctor. This is a good opportunity to discuss any concerns, expectations, the procedure in detail and how much it will cost. The procedure itself may take as little as 45 minutes. After local anaesthetic is applied to the area, the VASER probe is inserted through a small incision (5-6 mm) in the skin. Once in contact with the fat, the vaser breaks down the fat into a liquid debris. The vaser is especially good for treating deep and superficial which helps achieve a nice smooth finish with skin tightening. After the vaser has liquified the fat it is then gently removed with aspiration (suction). Most patients start to see improvements around two to four weeks once the swelling settles and final results after six to seven months ( sometimes even longer), depending on the treatment area.
