What happens during the Statewide/Self Assessment?
The Administration on Children and Families transmits to Georgia, its data profile showing Georgia’s performance on national safety and permanency indicators. Next Georgia and its external partners work together to analyze the outcomes achieved and the systems in place to protect children and provide services to children and their families. The data profile is based on our Adoption and Foster Care Analysis and Reporting System (AFCARS) and the National Child Abuse and Neglect Data System (NCANDS).
