What happens during the Host Channel data download? How often are there Host Channel downloads?
During the download, the TV listings data for your household will be transferred via the Host Channel’s signal to the GUIDE Plus+ system in your home (i.e. the DVDR, PVR, TV, etc. that is equipped with the GUIDE Plus+ feature). Host channel downloads occur in the middle of the night. After a successful download, the next morning you will see current TV listings data in the Grid and in the other areas of the guide.
