WHAT HAPPENS DURING REST PERIOD?
Most kids relax during Rest Period. You can write letters, read, play quiet games, and stuff like that. For most campers, the Canteen (camp store) is open during Rest Period. And for those campers who have signed-up for certain trips (like backpacking, canoe trips, Canada trip, Busch Gardens trip, etc.), you’ll need to attend an orientation meeting to review trip safety rules and procedures. These “trip meetings” also take place during Rest Period.
