Product activation takes place the first time you run your Autodesk software. You transmit the product serial number, a “request code,” and your registration data to Autodesk, where the serial number is validated and an activation code created and returned to your computer to enable your software. Activation is quick and easy; most users will experience it only once.
You go through a series of easy steps to activate your software, usually via the Internet (or offline such as email). You enter a product serial number which is used to authenticate the software license, thus unlocking the product. No personal information is required, and the whole process takes just a few seconds.
When a customer installs Easypano software and initiates an activation request, the program will generate an Activation ID according to network card ID of the specific computer. Then Activation ID and Serial Number are uploaded to Easypano Activation Server for authentication. After successfully being authenticated, the product will be fully activated. In this way, Easypano can ensure that each genuine copy is not activated more than the permitted number of times. Activation does not hinder licensed users’ ability to use the software the way they always have.
