Campers will remain outdoors as long as there is no lightning. In the event of a lightening storm, our Thouroguard Weather Warning System will go on and all campers will take cover in a grounded shelter or indoors. In the event of light rain, we continue with our camp activities so please pack your campers bag for rain and/or shine.

On days when the weather is not good enough for flying (low visibility, low ceilings, or thunderstorms), students can still expect to come in for a ground lesson. Even after completing a formal ground school, there will be a lot of material to cover for the Private Pilot Certificate.

Campers will remain outdoors as long as there is no lightning or thunder. In the event of a thunderstorm, campers will seek shelter indoors. In the event of rain, children should still pack their bag as they would on a sunny day. In the event of storms, Hoover campers may be transported to a different location.
