What happens during a wellness visit?
We start out by asking for a thorough listing of many facets of the pet’s environment, feeding protocols, and care. Then we perform a gentle but thorough physical examination of your pet including evaluation of all systems. Dr. Rolfe can see the effects of the care on the pets condition, checks for symptoms of early problems, and makes suggestions on what aspects of the care need optimizing. There will likely be some tests or sometimes treatment that will be recommended or suggested and you can decide whether you would like to have them performed at that time. In most cases we recommend that you be present during the examination.
