What happens during a treatment?
• You immerse your feet in warm water within the Aqua Detox ™ machine. • We set the machine to the correct settings and ionisation levels • Then you sit back & relax for 30 minutes whilst the Aqua Detox™ completes its cycle of treatment • You’ll see the excreted toxins in the water • The water will change colour and consistency – from orange, brown through to black • There may be lymphatic fat or mucous floating on the water • Well-being is enhanced from the first treatment • Detoxification is complete normally within 5 -7 treatments over 2-3 weeks • Endorsed by many leading alternative therapists including the World renowned Dr. Mary Staggs ND.DI-HAM and Dr. Bob Moroney MA.DA, • Used and recommended by over 250 Doctors and Dentists.
You should prepare for your treatment by eating a light meal beforehand, drinking plenty of fresh water, and wearing loose, comfortable clothing that is easily pulled up over your elbows and knees. If you are taking prescription medication, be sure to bring a list of the medications you are taking. Your first visit will last about one and one half hours, and 45 minutes to an hour for subsequent visits.
Your first visit will take about 1 1/2 hours. First you will be asked to fill out a medical history form. I will go over this form with you and review your case. Each client’s therapy is different because of your specific background. In reviewing your case, I will do my best to see if and how acupuncture can help. Specific points will then be selected for the actual treatment. Usually, a treatment takes between 35-55 minutes. During the first visit, I will give you an estimate of the number of treatments needed for your condition. As you progress, your case will be evaluated and the number of visits could increase or decrease depending on how your system responds to acupuncture. Follow up visits are 45 minutes to 1 hour in length.
An adjustment is the main method of treatment used by your chiropractor. It is a specialized gentle, controlled and safe pressure applied to your spine to restore the proper motion and position of your vertebrae. It is a precise procedure that your highly skilled chiropractor has learned and perfected over years of study and clinical practice. During your first visit, the chiropractor will want to know about your health history as well as your current complaint. Your home and work life as well as your level of physical activity may also affect your health, so don’t be surprised to be asked questions about these. Although chiropractors use their hands for most treatments, they also use other methods such as heat, light, specialized adjusting instruments, ultrasound, electrotherapy, personalized exercise programs, muscle-testing and balancing. Your chiropractor can also give you information and guidance on how you can stay healthy through proper nutrition, exercise and lifestyle changes.
